what littering effects. ANIMALS

This is a pictur os a juvenile olive ridley sea turtle. This turtle got tangled up in a rice bag. He has had this rice bag tangle to its flipper for so long that his little flipper got amputated by the rice bag. Thanks to the people that found this sea turle and help him take of the bag hurting it.

About 40 sea lions lounged on the rocks at the Benjamin Island haulout north of Juneau, and one was injured. A thin, white plastic packing band circled his neck and cut deep into his skin.
Two biologists studied the animal from a skiff 40 yards off the rocks. Lauri Jemison and Jamie King of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game discussed possible ways to free the entangled animal. None seemed very promising.
This sea lion had a plastic band tangled up on his neck. The plastic is cutting has cut its neck so much that its cutting it goes out for a swimm. I wonder how this sea lion is even breatning just because a person who cuoldn't wait to dispose of the garbage properly. I wonder is Jemison and King didn't find this marine mammal probably it wouldn't have his head any more.

  1. Disposing the garbage to the garbage can dose not take long. Why do we want to hurt animals? Animals are just like humans. They are in pain when they cut themselves, but they do not know how to express it. We humans when are in pain we can cry and go to the doctor. But how can these poor animals go to the veteran if they live in the ocean. DO NOT THROW GARBAGE ANYWHERE.

  2. That's really sad about the turtle, sea lion, and duck. Well your opinion on the subject is clearly noticable but i didn't really catch on if you had any suggestions on what we should do to stop it.I agree with you, there is no reason for people to not properly dispose of their trash. littering is a lazy, filthy, selfish habit that has to be controlled otherwise eventually we will be the ones living among the trash.
